Introduction
In an ever-changing and competitive world, Paolo Ruggeri stands out as a model of resilience, professionalism, and ambition. At just 29 years old, this young Italian entrepreneur has already held leadership roles in global companies, spearheading impactful projects in strategic sectors such as renewable energy and strategic consulting. Over the past 12 months, his career has seen extraordinary growth, taking the helm of several international branches of the AB Group.
Paolo, over the past 12 months, you have taken on key roles in various AB Group branches. What has this growth meant for you, and what have been the main challenges you’ve faced?
Paolo:
“Being appointed CEO of branches in countries such as the United States, Canada, and Singapore has been a great honor. Each market has its own unique characteristics. The main challenge has been ensuring consistency between the AB Group’s global strategies and the local needs of each country. I am particularly proud of leading an expansion that is not only economic but also cultural, thanks to the integration of multinational teams.”
In addition to your role at AB Group, you are also a co-founder of Luc.IA and GFP Consulting. How do you manage to balance these commitments, and what motivates you to diversify your activities?
Paolo:
“Luc.IA explores the potential of artificial intelligence, a sector that will radically transform operations in many fields. GFP Consulting allows me to provide strategic consulting to SMEs that aim to grow and innovate. Balancing these commitments requires rigorous planning and a trusted team. Delegation is crucial: success is the result of teamwork. My motivation is to leave a positive and tangible impact, both in the renewable energy sector and in technological innovation.”
Your focus on technologies for the energy transition is evident. What is your vision for the future of renewable energy?
Paolo:
“Renewable energy is the future, not only for environmental sustainability but also for economic competitiveness. Decarbonization is a cornerstone of the energy transition: it involves reducing CO2 emissions by radically rethinking energy production and consumption to make them cleaner and more efficient. This process is taking place within an extremely dynamic energy sector, with challenges and opportunities varying across established economies and developing economies. At AB, we tackle this complexity with a range of technological solutions that ensure efficiency and reduce the carbon footprint. Every project we deliver today represents a step forward toward a future where energy is more sustainable, accessible, and resilient, contributing to global economic progress and the fight against climate change.”
